"If you like Pina Coladas!..."
I bought a pineapple slicer while I was in Seattle and tried it out. It really rocks my world. I love fresh pineapple. When you're done extracting the pineapple it really does leave the outside part in the form of a cup as shown top right of picture. My brother already had one. Then Mom wanted one. So I bought her one as a Mother's day gift and bought one for myself.

That looks really cool. I like fresh pineapple, too, but never buy it because I am daunted by the prospect of trying to figure out how to cut it up
Recently I won a family bloopers award for cutting up and entire pineapple, not realizing there is an inner core that is not so edible.
That is cool! I was looking at the pineapples in the grocery tore yesterday and passed for the same reason.
